The World Keeps on Turning

Hello there~
Haven't been writing much as nothing have really changed that much...

I've been working on my portfolio, granted not as hard as I should (which means I will have to step up my game now if I'm going to have any chance for a internship).
What I need to do is finish my 3D work and create some new good 2D art. Not so hard right?
Well maybe if one isn't a lazy bum like me...

Anyway, winter is coming....and it is kinda depressing.
I wanted a more mellow and mild autumn, but no, apparently it was time for some snow in sweden (not exactly where I live, but thanks to some helping facebook updates by friends I am able to know when the first snow landed where in stockholm). Although I don't think many would count is as snow yet if doesn't last long enough to touch the ground.

(Btw I just started watching Merlin, and I am oh so happy to see Anthony Head and Eve Myles in it!)

Also managed to read some books these months, not as many as I would have liked as I almost fell behind on my reading challenge on goodreads (to read 50 books in a year), but I am getting back on track and hopefully get the booktubing thing started as well!
Yes I am still into that, and wont be able to get it out of my head until I try it.

Now, I could go on with my anxiety over my future and all the stress I put upon myself, buuut I think that's an entry for another time...

Moving

Yaaaay, I have finally moved!
And let me tell you, there are tons of things left to do and fix. For example, we don't have internet.
Or we have a little bit of internet...we get a very low signal of wifi in the garden, so I need to sit outside on A's laptop if I want to have access to the internet. Which is not that fun when the evenings are getting colder and darker and you just want to sit inside with a cup of tea.

Yes, I admit, I am addicted to the internet.
The thing is, I don't have an issue with no internet when I have chosen it. Spending weeks in our summer house in finland with no electricity or running water have never been a problem for me. But when I'm home, I want to feel like it too, and that includes internet with all it's glory.
But the lack of internet does have some good points...we are a lot more active and actually go to the gym to have something to do and I have noticed I am a lot more social on my phone because one of the few things I can do is talk to people on facebook and other social sites.

Other than that all is well. We haven't killed each other, but there was some high tension yesterday...but what was to be expected when to females live together in close quarters and the moon takes it's turn? (I hope that was a good poetic term for pms for you guys XD)
Thankfully the simmering rage-filled boredom made me constructive and I actually built my IKEA computerdesk (and yes I managed to get one part wrong and I need to double check the wheels but at least there's a table in my room). I also called out for an impulse hangout with some friends in town. This did dilute the tension between me and A aswell (she tagged along).

School has also started and this year has the big potential of being BORING. Right now my assigment is pretty much reading a research about research..... -__-
Hopefully things will pick up later on and I'll find a good partner to write my big final essay with. I have some fun ideas I'd like to research and write about, but we'll have to see if I get to do that...

Hopefully internet will be fixed next week so I can start to fix the layout of this blog and portfolio (which help from A most likely).

Life update

So there are some major changes going on in my life. Ok. Just one...or maybe two, it depends on how you see it.

I am moving out! Yes! Finally!
Out from my parents home and in to a what can only be called, a cabin.
A bit wierd perhaps but it is what it is, and I am not moving alone so that's nice.
My friend A has already moved in so now I need to move over my stuff and we can finish decorating and such. We have our own rooms to sleep in which is propably for the best, this way I might not end up killing her..at least not in my sleep >.>

So the big decision is should I keep my small and forever-alone-bed or should I aim to buy a bigger one that will literally take up almost all space in my new tiny cabin room?
A hard one isn't it?

And it's not like I have all the time in the world to dedicate to this moving either. I still have a part-time job that is a couple of days a week. And let's not forget the important days off where I kinda want the time to read and relax with friends. 'Cause since I am working this summer, it means that I have no vacation time at all, unless you count the four days I had in Köln, Germany (I think it might be Colone in english?) at the music festival Amphi (which was awesooooome btw! So going next year again!).

And yeah, this post might be getting a bit long, but I do have one more subject I want to breach.
I am thinking on creating a youtube channel, or perhaps two, one personal which will mainly be aimed at booktubing (for those who are not aware of this term, it is pretty much a whole bunch of youtubers who talk mostly about books, like reviews and hauls and such). I read a lot of books (you can visist my goodreads page for an accurate overview of what I read).
I am by no means I writer and thus I have never felt like any reviews I'd write for any book would accuratly cover what I thought about it. But talking about it on the other hand, I have no problem with!
Maybe I'll combine it with like a casual vlog or something...we'll see
The other channel is something me and A have been thinking of. Instead of doing a gaming channel alone we were thinking of doing one together, where we play different games, drink wine and act just the way we do when we usually play (which is pretty redicilous sometimes). This idea came forth when we played through The Last Of Us (great game by the way!).
Now that we will be living together it will be a lot easier to plan and film too~

That was really it for now, but keep an eye out, I will be posting more (and hopefully do something about my banner >.<)

Beginning of change!

As the title reads! It's the beginning of change.

Maybe it's the spring lurking behind the corner (a very snowy and cold corner) or maybe it's all the talk of future and personal branding in school, that gave me a boost to finish designing this blog.

I tend to stick and over think things rather than actually doing anything...but at least I got started now so it wont be so hard to finish it (the hard part is starting things right? or is it just me? >_>).
If anyone's interested, I designed and made the background myself ^^ I will keep on creating things myself, easier than having to worry about copyrights and such~

On a different note, I bought two shoes!
I mean, I bought one pair from topshop and ordered another from ebay (sent the order today so we'll have too see when they arrive~)

These are the shoes from topshop:
Topshop platform sneakers
super cute and really comfortable! Can't wait until most of the snow have melted so I can wear them without ruining them!

That's it for now~

The hiatus is still going...

So yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone has noticed the lack of writing for a looooong while now...
and no, I wont be starting to write just yet.

Sadly I have felt that there has been tons of stuff for me to do, both in school and privately so after some things have settled down I will be writing again!

I am working on the new design and layout for this blog (although it is not top priority right now..).
I hope this new layout idea will work out~ it would be really cool~
and I could write about  different stuff that still interest me (and hopefully you as well :P ) but have some more structure to it!

That's it for now, I am still active on my instagram and tumblr http://somethinglike3d.tumblr.com/ , so feel free to check those out while I get some order back to my life! ^^
